“If art is the window to the soul, then the frame must exist as the window to the art.”

That’s the guiding statement behind one-of-a Kind Framing, that the art needn’t stop when the page ends. Highlighting that art, extending it outward, integrating it into a complete experience, these steps are what discriminates some art tacked on a wall from what can be a complete work of beauty.

Combining these pieces – the art inside that’s yours with the art outside that’s mine – has become my focus. one-of-a Kind Framing isn’t about simply framing your most-memorable experiences, it is about evolving them towards something more complete, something whole.

Who is Moby
Moby started this life an architect in Denver, Colorado, creating life and structure in three dimensions. Those same three dimensions are evident in his body of work, incorporating frame, matte, and artwork into a unified whole. Moby started framing concert posters quietly, out of disdain for the limitations traditional framing imposes. Scouring odd places for antique frames and odd bits of wood
and steel, he found he was seeking something…different.

Looking one day at the matte, the empty whitespace that transitions art into frame, he realized the opportunity for an evolution in artistic expression, a new form of art all its own. Filling in those odd spaces between art and container, he began adding art of his own. Seeking inspiration from the artwork itself, Moby found his contribution to society in a style yet seen.
